Working on a low-budget feature also means you are the set decorator, property master, special effects coordinator, picture vehicle coordinator, and sometimes driver of the van that holds it all together. This particular project helped rejuvenate my appreciation for these other departments and how each can be affected by the other. This was also an experience in proper planning and communicating. I had to be prepared for anything that may come up, as the film shot for 18 of 22 days in the Sequoia National Park, nearly 2hrs from the nearest resources. It forced me to come up with creative solutions to the evolving story changes and new ideas.
